The Stockyard Group is excited to announce the appointment of Lisa Sharp as General Manager Marketing and Innovation.

The appointment is in line with the Group’s ambitious 2030 strategic plan, which will see it focus on solidifying on its industry-leading reputation as a high-quality and sustainable vertically integrated beef producer and building upon is exceptional global brand presence.
Stockyard is recognised globally as producing exceptional beef, and its commitment to quality and consistency for over six decades sees it’s branded Angus and Wagyu beef the most awarded in Australia.
Lisa is a familiar face in the company having held a position as a non-executive director of the Stockyard Group since 2020. Lisa was appointed to the board for her extensive consumer marketing background which has seen her develop innovative and data-driven fast moving consumer goods brands for Uncle Tobys, Kraft Foods, and Coca Cola. She also challenged the way we think about red meat marketing during her tenure at Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), in her role as the Chief Marketing and Insights Officer responsible for the global marketing of Australian beef, lamb and goat meat. Lisa’s latest role as CEO of Herefords Australia saw her develop the long-term strategy of the business enabling the breed to continue to fulfil its potential as a commercial breed enterprise.
Commenting on the new appointment, Stockyard Managing Director, Lachie Hart said:

This pivotal role sees Lisa join our Executive Leadership Team and responsible for Marketing and Innovation across our supply chain.”
Lisa will bring her skills across marketing, product innovation, global strategy development, brand management, communication, and data analytics to the business. She will lead the development of new initiatives along our supply chain to ensure the business is at the forefront of industry advancements and achieving its bold sustainability targets.

Lisa will commence with the Stockyard Group in April 2023.
