Maintenance Hand – Jondaryan, QLD

Are you highly motivated? Mechanically minded and love the outdoors? Then this role is for you. Stockyard Lot Feeders is looking for a new Maintenance Hand to join their team at Kerwee Feedlot, based in Jondaryan on the Darling Down in South-East Queensland.

About the role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be:
    • Operating various plant & equipment
    • Maintaining fixed and mobile plant and equipment
    • Undertaking general maintenance activities
    • Understanding and maintaining water system infrastructure
    • Repairing or problem-solving various aspects of feedlot maintenance

    • Our ideal candidate:
    • It is a dynamic, fast-paced environment at Stockyard’s Kerwee Feedlot, so you’ll need exceptional time management skills. You should be a self-starter, able to recognise when a job needs doing and get it done
    • An ability to communicate well with all levels of the team
    • A strong focus on WHS Policy and procedures
    • Some mechanical knowledge is desirable
    • Mechanical qualifications would also be attractive; however, we also can create an opportunity for an apprentice
