Kerwee Feedlot

The Kerwee Feedlot is located on the Darling Downs in south-east Queensland; an area famous for its abundant supply of high quality grain and water.

This feedlot is designed for the cattle to enjoy a clean and stress free environment whilst maintaining the viability of the surrounding eco-system. Cattle are fed a balanced diet consisting of high quality
steam flaked grains and other locally produced feedstuffs.

Kerwee has a livestock capacity of 9 171 standard cattle units
 (1 scu = 600 kg animal). Kerwee participates in the National
Feedlot Accreditation Scheme (NFAS No. 247) where the key
areas of environmental management, animal welfare, feeding
integrity and meat safety are addressed. Kerwee has
demonstrated through rigorous quality assurance protocols
and systems, that we are committed to exceeding
the expectations regulatory authorities, markets, consumers
and the wider community. Kerwee is a proud supporter
of the Australian Lot Feeders Association and the local community.

Kerwee manages several independently audited (by Aus-Meat) production systems to provide customers
with alternative solutions.
