Investment in the entire value chain, product differentiation and development of the brand Stockyard, established in 1973, guarantees customers have confidence in our high quality product.

Stockyard has strong vertical integration throughout the food chain with interests in cattle breeding and raising, lot feeding, processing and marketing. Our production system is undertaken entirely in Australia, which has international recognition for its uniquely clean environment and disease free status.

All Stockyard beef is grain fed. Stockyard’s award wining feedlot, Kerwee, feeds selected British bred cattle on high energy grain rations in a clean controlled environment. To meet our customer requirements, including meat quality characteristics of marbling and meat and fat colour, cattle are fed from 70 days to in excess of 400 days. We do not use hormone growth promotants, antibiotics, animal by products or use genetically modified (GMO) feedstuffs.
