Our Grain Fed Beef

Stockyard grain fed beef is derived from younger, lighter carcass weight cattle that have been fed grain for a minimum of 70days.  Beef is MSA graded at production to ensure the highest eating quality standard possible.  Light marbling ensures exceptional flavour and tenderness while keeping fat content to a minimum, which makes this beef popular with Australian consumers.

Stockyard also feeds ‘short fed’ British breed cattle to a minimum of 120days. Heavier carcass weights and a little more marbling makes this product very popular with chefs in restaurants and hotels throughout the world, who are looking for consistency in quality and portion size.
